Amand was made of a 0.75-inch distressed hand-dyed mohair in predominantly red, cerise and pink tones with dashes of orange and white. The inset tummy, snout and inside of Amand ''s ears have been made of cream-coloured sparse mohair with shades of pale pink and pale green. His face has been ‘scissor-sculpted', the inside of his ears were trimmed short and the fur of the inset chest kept its original length ( 1.2 inch ). Amand ''s hands and sculpted feet were made of hand-dyed upholstery in the same shades as the mohair. He has a black embroidered nose and black glass eyes. Around his neck Amand is wearing a checkered bow. The red mohair of Amand ''s fur and the upholstery used for his paws were hand-dyed by Barbara-Ann Cunningham (UK). Like all BeauT Bears Amand is a one-of-a-kind and entirely handcrafted.
